CHICAGO: Awards held to recognize outstanding contributions to insurance innovation in 2019

The winners of the Insurance Nexus awards were revealed at an exclusive, black-tie ceremony held at the Hilton Chicago Hotel on Thursday, September 12th, 2019, Insurance Nexus can now announce. Held to recognize and celebrate the teams, companies and individuals driving truly innovative, impactful and lasting change in the North American insurance space, the awards ceremony saw attendees enjoy a three-course meal, cocktails and entertainment including comedy, live music and more.

As insurance continues to pursue ever greater engagement with customers and the delivery of seamless, digital and personalized services, the role of leadership in delivering such strategic and enterprise-wide change has arguably never been greater and the Insurance Nexus Awards have the explicit aim of spotlighting and celebrating these leaders.

The awards comprised 15 categories, with each recognizing either an Insurance Leader, an Insurance Team or anInsurance Initiative of the year. The finalists were selected by a panel of esteemed judges, who were tasked with identifying the greatest impacts from technology implementation, process optimization and organizational restructuring.

The judging panel was drawn from an array of industry experts and included Matteo Carbone, Founder, IoT Insurance Observatory, Scott McCormick, President, Connected Vehicle Trade Association and Karlyn Carnahan, Head of P&C Insurance, Americas, Celent.
